Out of a random my 10 years old poses what I consider a very deep question.
I swiftly reply: “That I will not utilize my potential in here.”
“Dad, and can it happen?”, she curiously follows.
“Dad, what’s your biggest fear?”

“Mia, yes -- let’s say I am born as the most talented violin player in the world. But no one, ever, presents me with a violin”,
I try to explain.
“Dad, and what do you do to avoid it?”, she persistently follows thru our conversation.
“I don’t know Mia, you tell me”, I try to ignite her logical thinking.
“I guess you try everything humanly possible”, answers Mia.
Like father like daughter. I remain quiet about the pain it brings and off to sleep she goes.
